Ye Tao is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Industrial Design Department of Zhejiang University City College. She also serves as a part-time expert at the International Design Institute of Zhejiang University, is an executive member of the Computer-Aided Design and Graphics Committee and the Human-Computer Interaction Committee of the China Computer Federation, and was selected for the Hangzhou West Lake Scholar and Hangzhou Special Support Training Program. She mainly worked on designing and fabricating shape-changing interfaces, and digital crafts. She presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China project; authorized more than 10 invention patents; awarded the red dot, iF, Ars Electronica and other design awards; published more than 30 papers in top journals and academic conferences such as Science Advances, CHI, UIST; served as a reviewer for academic conferences and journals such as CHI, UIST, DIS, Materials & Design.

浙大城市学院工业设计系副主任，副教授，硕士生导师。浙江大学软件工程学科博士后，美国卡内基梅隆大学人机交互系访问学者。担任浙江大学国际设计研究院兼任专家，中国计算机学会计算机辅助设计与图形学专委会、人机交互专委会执行委员，入选杭州市西湖学者、杭州市特支培养计划。主要从事数字化设计与制造、材料与实体交互技术、人机交互界面、数字工艺等研究，主持国家自然科学基金青年基金项目；授权中国发明专利14项，美国发明专利2项；获红点、iF、 Ars Electronica等国内外设计奖20余项；相关研究成果已在Science Advances、CHI、UIST等综合设计领域的顶级期刊及学术会议上发表论文30余篇；担任CHI、UIST、DIS、Materials & Design等权威会议与期刊审稿专家。
